<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply transmit updated information without damaging privacy when renumbering is executed on a network. <P>SOLUTION: A name solving device is provided with a name inquiring part 2, a database 3, a name updating part 4, a response part 5, a network processing part 6, and a management part 7. The management part 7 manages node information of each node collected by the inquiry of the name inquiring part 2 with names, network IDs, network prefixes, and interface IDs. Regarding the node information which has the similar interface ID and the different network prefix, the database 3 can be automatically updated since the update of the database 3 is executed after deciding that the node information is updated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
