PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for an electrically driven differential system.

SOLUTION: A differential device assembly comprises an electrically operated input device and a first planetary gear assembly drivingly engaged with the input device. The first planetary gear assembly is connected to a first output assembly so as to be driven. A second planetary gear assembly is drivingly engaged with the first planetary gear assembly, and connected to a second output assembly so as to be driven. The first planetary gear assembly in cooperation with the second planetary gear assembly imparts a same torque to the first and second output assemblies. The first and second planetary gear assemblies comprise a rotating shaft generally aligned with the rotating shaft of the input device.
