摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic device which provides high fineness, can deal with a higher speed, outputs stable images without thicken letters in spite of repetitive use at a high speed, and maintains the high sensitivity intrinsic to titanyl phthalocyanine even when a non-halogen system solvent is used for a coating liquid for a charge transporting layer. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic system includes at least an electrostatic charging means, an exposure means, a developing means, a transfer means, and an electrophotographic photoreceptor, in which the time from the exposure means to the developing means is≤200 msec. The exposure energy when the photoreceptor is irradiated writing light having resolution≥600 dpi from the exposure means is≤5 erg/cm<SP>2</SP>on the surface of the photoreceptor and the electrophotographic photoreceptor contains a titanyl phthalocyanine crystal that the diffraction peak of a Bragg angle 2θwith CuKαline has the maximum diffraction peak at least at 27.2°and further has the major peaks at 9.4°, 9.6°and 24.0°in its charge generating layer.
