PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple adjusting method and its tool for adjustment an optical axis of a laser optical system. SOLUTION: By using this tool 9 formed by providing vertically on a soleplate 10, a fluorescent material-containing transparent acrylic board 11 provided with a cross line a having the intersection point agreeing with the center and a plurality of concentric circles b, each optical element of a laser beam source 1 and the others is adjusted so that a laser beam hits the center of the cross line a on the acrylic board 11 of the tool 9, to thereby adjust the optical axis on the same horizontal line, and the mounting position and the angle of each optical element.
