PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a high damping laminate, having good setting resistance and breaking property and an excellent damping and a high damping laminate using the composition as a rubber layer. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a high damping laminate comprises 5-40 pts.mass of zinc oxide whisker having three dimensional anisotropism and 15-60 pts.mass of a petroleum resin relative to 100 pts.mass of a diene type rubber.
