PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding attachment surely cutting off a grinding wheel entrained air layer entrained by the rotation of the grinding wheel and sufficiently feeding coolant or lubricating oil mist of the reduced flow rate with its effectively stuck to the grinding surface. SOLUTION: A wind shield plate 22 having its inner edge opposed to the grinding surface with a micro clearance formed therebetween and its outside edge 22b outward positioned separately from the grinding wheel G is provided transversally to the grinding surface in the upstream side in the grinding wheel rotating direction of a grinding point. A fluid jet nozzle 26 jetting from one end to the other end of the grinding surface in parallel to the wind shield plate while contacting with the surface of the wind shield plate in the grinding point side and the grinding surface to fill the micro clearance between the grinding surface and the inner edge of the wind shield plate is provided in the side of the grinding point close to the wind shield plate.
