PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color selection electrode measuring device in which even when the position of a panel pin mounted on a panel is shifted from a design value, the shift of a space between the panel and the color selection electrode can be made smaller, and a color selection electrode measuring method using the same. SOLUTION: In the color selection electrode measuring device 100, a color selection electrode-height measuring means 6 for measuring the height of the color selection electrode element face 2 is arranged on moving actuators 7, 8, and can move in an xy plane. By calculating the shift (ΔX,ΔY andΔZ) between the center of gravity of the position coordinates of the panel pins 14-17 and the center of gravity of design coordinates, and after moving the color selection electrode-height measuring means 6 by the movable actuators 7, 8, by (ΔX,ΔY) in the xy plane, the height of the color selection electrode element face 2 is measured.
