The invention relates to a picture frame comprising a plurality of frame strips (10) which can be interconnected by means of connection elements (12). Said frame strips are connected by introducing rod-shaped projections (20) of the connection elements (12) into insertion pockets (18). The connection is carried out by friction in such a way that the connection elements (12) and the frame strips (10) are detachably interconnected without entailing an intricate assembly process. A spirit level is integrated into a fixing element (14) for fixing a picture frame to a wall. |
