The chain wrap transmission (1) has a drive wheel (2), at least one driven wheel (3, 4) and a chain (5) running on them, under tension from a tensioning device (9, 10) and passing through a guidance device (6, 7, 8) consisting of a roller (9d) and a lever (9b) acted on by a tensioner (10). The tensioning device also serves as the guide of the guidance device.
