The electrical machine has a housing (3) enclosing a stator (1) and a rotor (2), with a cooling fan (17), providing a primary cooling air flow (11), directed through cooling channels (10) for cooling the inside wall of the machine housing and a secondary cooling air flow (4), circulated through the interior of the electrical machine.
