<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation for external use capable of masking unpleasant odor of a hop extract, having mild aroma and free from sense of imcompatibility. <P>SOLUTION: The hop extract-containing skin care preparation for external use comprises (A) one or more kinds of damascone, methylhydrojasmonate, cis-jasmone, eugenol, ambroxane, coumarin, damascenone, ionone, bisabolene, caryophyllene, cedarwood, citronella, labdanum, patchouli, sandal wood and vanilla and (B) one or more kinds of cis-3-hexenol, cis-3-hexenyl acetate, triplal, isobornyl acetate, β-phenylethyl alcohol, linalyl acetate, linalool, benzyl acetate, styrallyl acetate, benzyl propionate, citral, aldehyde C-10, cineole, limonene, α-pinene, β-pinene, borneol, geranyl acetate, geraniol, terpineol, cineole, citronellal, citronellol, camphor, terpinene, lime, bergamot, galbanum, rosemary, lavender, eucalyptus, rose, ylang ylong, neroli, basil, elemi, peppermint, petit-grain and thyme. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
