<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder which enables a desktop space to be secured without the need for labor and can prevent dust and foreign matter from intruding into a body in nonuse, and which prevents a paper jam from being caused by the closing of a paper-ejecting-port cover in use. <P>SOLUTION: A magnet unit 818 is provided in a paper feeding cover 803 for covering a paper feeding opening 801a, and a metallic member 819 is provided in the paper-ejecting-port cover 804 for covering the paper ejecting port 802a. The magnet unit 818 of the cover 803 and the metallic member 819 of the cover 804 adsorb each other so as to be brought into a locked state, and constitute a shell structure. The cover 804 is automatically opened by self-weight in synchronization with the opening of the cover 803. A DC jack 817 is arranged on a right side surface 800c of a printer body 800, and an I/F connector 816 is arranged in a detachable side cover 806. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
