<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost by reducing the number of components and assembling time while making a shaft compact without radially extending diameter of a female shaft even when connecting an elastic body for preload of a torque transmitting member. <P>SOLUTION: Three sets of balls (spherical bodies) 7 are rollingly engaged between three sets of axial grooves 3 and 5 of a male shaft 1 and the female shaft 2 via three leaf springs 9 for preload. Three leaf springs 9 are interconnected through ring-like connecting section 20. The ring-like connecting section 20 is engaged with a small diameter section 1a of an end of the male shaft 1, and is arranged along an annular surface 21 of a step for the small diameter section 1a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
