PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the user data recorded on an optical disk from being recorded on another optical disk.

SOLUTION: User data and display data consisting of a random pattern and a fixed pattern are recorded on an optical disk 1. When display data are recorded from the optical disk 1 to another optical disk with a prescribed cutting speed, data of the random pattern and the fixed pattern are recorded on a position indicating preliminarily set display information.
