<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical receiver capable of attaining high density mount without deteriorating a signal to noise ratio. <P>SOLUTION: The optical receiver including one light receiving element 101 or more for converting an optical signal into an electric signal and an amplifier 102 respectively connected to one electrode of each light emitting element 101 and amplifying the electric signal, is provided with an adjustment means 103 respectively connected in series with the other electrode of each light receiving element 101 and adjusting a photo current flowing through each light receiving element to be a prescribed value or below. A voltage generated at the adjustment means 103 decreases a voltage applied to each light receiving element 101 to reduce the photo current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
