<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the writing performance of a writing utensil. <P>SOLUTION: This writing utensil 1 comprises a writing utensil main body 2 having a pen point part 24 at the tip side and a cap 3 which covers the pen point part 24 during not using the writing utensil 1 and can connect with the tail end side of the main body 2 during using the writing utensil 1. The main body 2 is equipped with a grip region 2a formed near the pen point part 24. The cap 3 has at least a narrow diameter region 3b formed smaller than the outer shape of the periphery of the main body 2 while being connected with the tail end side of the main body 2. In addition, when a writing operation is performed in the way that the main body 2 is gripped by wrapping it in the palm without connecting the cap 3 with the tail end side of the main body 2, the tip parts of the fingers are attached along the grip region 2a and when the writing operation is performed in the way that the cap 3 is connected with the tail end side of the main body 2 and is gripped in a routinely holding manner, the tip parts of the fingers are attached along the narrow diameter region 3b and the edge part of the hand linking the bases of a thumb and a forefinger, is attached along the narrow diameter region 3b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
