<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid vaccine for immunotherapy of carcinoma, especially uterine cervix carcinoma. <P>SOLUTION: A vector for DNA immunization to the uterine cervix carcinoma includes a nucleic acid molecule encoding at least one non-toxic T-cell epitope of the E6 and/or E7 antigens of human papilloma virus (HPV) strain relating to the uterine cervix carcinoma such as HPV-16, and a promoter operatively binding to the nucleic acid in order to express the nucleic acid molecule in a host to whom the vector is administered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
