<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preserve drip/water resistance for an electronic apparatus by covering its insertion slot with a covering member upon installation of a device having a protrusion. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus main body has an upper case 2a and a lower case 2b, and has an insertion slot 12a open for insertion of a radio communication card 16. The upper case 2a has a opening/closing cover 6 for providing coverage on the insertion slot 12a. A space 11 is formed between the electronic apparatus main body and the cover 6 when the cover 6 is closed, and the antenna section 16b of the radio communication card 16 is accommodated in the space 11. A salient edge 6b is formed along the circumference of the cover 6, and engages with the recessed edge of the upper case 2a and the lower case 2b for preventing water from entering the space 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
