<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory card and a recording device capable of reducing an insertion resistance occurring at the time of inserting a memory card. <P>SOLUTION: In mounting a memory card 10, a plurality of connectors 16 of a recording device 14 are brought into contact with a plurality of connecting terminals 12 of the memory card 10 respectively, and connected to the memory of the memory card 10. In this case, each connector 16 is not elastically deformed all at once when pressed to the end part of the memory card 10 but almost simultaneously deformed according to the insertion degree of the memory card 10.
