<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the biopotential (electrocardiogram) when a patient or subject is taking a shower or taking a bath, taking the cost into consideration and from the sanitary point of view, and to quickly notify a medical person or family member about the abnormality to take immediate measures if the detected biopotential (electrocardiogram) is abnormal. <P>SOLUTION: The electropotential detector apparatus comprises a disposable bioelectrode pad for detecting the potential of an organism, and a reusable signal processor for processing a biopotential signal detected by the bioelectrode pad. The bioelectrode pad and the signal processor are detachable from each other, and the part where the potential of the organism is led out from the bioelectrode pad to the signal processor is waterproofed.
