PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera for applying respectively different aberration correcting processing to still picture image data and through-image data or the still picture image data and moving picture image data. SOLUTION: The digital camera is provided with: an image display section for displaying a through-image on the basis of through-image data obtained by capturing an object image formed at present on a solid-state imaging element via a photographing optical system; a photographing section to obtain the still picture image data representing a still picture in response to a photographing operation; and an aberration correction section for applying respectively different aberration correction processing to the through-image data and the still picture image data. Or the digital camera is provided with: a photographing mode switching section that selects a still picture photographing mode wherein a still picture is photographed or moving picture photographing mode wherein a moving picture is photographed; a photographing section for obtaining still picture image data representing a still picture in response to a photographing operation in the still picture photographing mode and obtaining moving picture image data representing a moving picture in response to a photographing operation in the moving picture photographing mode; and an aberration section for applying respectively different aberration correction processing to the still picture image data and the moving picture image data.
