<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new five-membered heterocyclic compound having excellent adipose tissue weight reducing action, hypoglycemic action, and hypolipidemic action, and useful as a prophylactic and therapeutic agent for obesity, diabetes, hyperlipemia, glucose tolerance insufficiency, hypertension, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This compound expressed by formula (I) [R<SP>1</SP>is the five-membered heterocyclic ring which may be substituted; X, Y and V are identical to or different from each other and are each a bond, O, S, or the like; Q is a 1-20C divalent hydrocarbon residue; ring A is an aromatic ring which may have 1-3 substituents; Z is (CH<SB>2</SB>)<SB>n</SB>-Z<SP>1</SP>or Z<SP>1</SP>-(CH<SB>2</SB>)<SB>n</SB>(Z<SP>1</SP>is a bond, O, S, or the like; and (n) is 0-8); ring B is a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring which may have 1-3 substituents; W is a bond or a 1-20C divalent hydrocarbon residue; and R<SP>2</SP>is H, cyano or PO(OR<SP>9</SP>)(OR<SP>10</SP>) (R<SP>9</SP>and R<SP>10</SP>are identical to or different from each other and are each H or a hydrocarbon residue which may be substituted, or R<SP>9</SP>and R<SP>10</SP>bind to each other to form a ring which may be substituted)] or its salts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
