PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the winding of a motor harness from becoming complex at application to a left-hand driving vehicle, which occurs in conventional electric motors because a harness drawing port is only one for a right-hand driving vehicles, for example, and prevent the motor from receiving stress by vibration due to its long length. SOLUTION: This motor comprises a motor housing 15, in which a plurality of permanent magnets are fixed to the inner periphery surface; a motor shaft provided inside the motor housing so as to be freely rotatable; an armature coil, fixed at an outer periphery of the motor shaft and disposed so that the outer periphery surface faces the permanent magnet; and a brush for supplying current to the armature coil via harnesses 43, 44. Two harness drawing ports 51, 52 for drawing the harnesses are formed at substantially symmetrical positions of one end part lower part of the motor housing, and either of the harness drawing ports is made to open, corresponding to an arrangement position of the steering wheel on the right or the left side inside the cabin.
