PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium storing body whose thickness is thin, and which is inexpensive and has a structure strong to a pressure in the up and down direction, and a booklet attached with the storing body in which an optical recording medium is stored. SOLUTION: The optical recording medium storing body is a storing body for the optical recording medium in which a clamping area at the center has a shape projecting in one direction of the up and down direction. A sheet-like member with an approximately same thickness as that of the clamping area of the optical recording medium is used, and two sheets of the sheet-like members which are larger than the optical recording medium and are approximately rectangular are connected with each other to form a folding part. A flap for fastening is continuously connected with an arbitrary side intersecting at right angles to the folding direction of this connected sheet-like members, and the folding part is folded and the flap for fastening is coated with an adhesive to form a bag-like storing part. A through-hole in which the clamping area enters is provided on one of the approximately rectangular sheet-like members.
