PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve torsional rigidity and flexural rigidity of a vehicle body while reducing the weight of a van type truck. SOLUTION: A front frame 5 and rear frame 6 are fixed on a front end upper part and rear end upper part of a loading platform part of a chassis frame 3 formed by joining a pair of left and right side members 1 and a plurality of cross members 2 in a ladder shape. Because upper ends of the front and rear frames 5, 6 are joined through an upper frame 7 along a longitudinal direction, the chassis and a body of the van type truck structures one carbody shell, and the flexural rigidity and torsional rigidity of the van type truck are improved due to a reinforcement effect of the upper frame 7.
