PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display realizing a design by which a step in the thickness direction at a wall part on the visual confirmation side in a case is not produced, and appearance of the display is made excellent, while a proper and stable key operation is maintained at low cost. SOLUTION: A light guide plate 35 is formed so as to be extended to an anti-visual confirmation side of key buttons 33, the key buttons 33 are held on an extended part 35a via a holding parts 36 and through holes 38 permitting contact of the key buttons 33 with a wiring part 21 are formed in positions corresponding to the key buttons 33 in the extended part 35a.
