PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high strength austenitic stainless steel strip which has excellent bending workability by clarifying indexes for satisfying high strength and high bending workability. SOLUTION: In the high strength austenitic stainless steel strip having excellent bending workability, the crystal grain size after final recrystallization annealing is 1 to 10μm, and the ratio (YS/Ms)between 0.2% yield stress (=YS (MPa)) and a martensite content (=Ms (%)) is≥25.
