STORAGE CONTROL METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR VIDEO DATA, PROGRAM, RECORDING MEDIUM, AND VIDEO CAMERA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly, surely and efficiently acquire only a face image included in video data so as to realize a storage form excellent in availability.

SOLUTION: A storage control method employs a computer to apply storage control to video data photographed by a video camera and includes: a step of segmenting a face image of a living thing from the acquired video data by the computer; and a step of providing time information to each of the segmented face images and recording the result to a storage means. Thus, only the face image included in the video data can quickly, surely and efficiently be acquired and a storage form with excellent availability is realized.
