<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the problem that reproduced sound is inaudible due to breaks caused by transmission delay when audio information transmitted through the communication line of a network or the like is reproduced in an audio reproducing device. <P>SOLUTION: The audio reproducing device which receives and reproduces audio information transmitted from a transmission device is provided with a storage means for storing received audio information, a reproducing means for reproducing audio information stored in the storage means, a detection means for detecting the reproducing time of audio information stored in the storage means, a comparison means for comparing the reproducing time of audio information detected by the detection means with a preliminarily determined time, and a speed control means for controlling the reproducing speed of audio information in the reproducing means, and the speed control means reduces the reproducing speed of the reproducing means when the reproducing time of audio information stored in the storage means is equal to or shorter than the preliminarily determined time as a result of comparison in the comparison means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
