<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hold type display device which resolves the occurrence of blur of moving images to display images of high quality by the same sort of driving as the conventional method. <P>SOLUTION: A relatively high resistor 180 is connected in parallel to a data holding capacitance 170, and electric charge corresponding to image data held in the data holding capacitance 170 by the CR time constant of the capacity value of the data holding capacitance 170 and the resistance value of the resistor 180 is discharged within a period shorter than one frame period, and thereby, black is inserted before the next frame and a hold type display element is made closer to an impulse type element and is driven. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
