<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photodegradation type picture forming material which can be used as a positive planographic printing original plate turning the exposed region to a non-picture part. <P>SOLUTION: The photodegradation type picture forming material has a picture formation layer including a light absorber and a degradable compound, and a substrate.
