COLOR CONVERSION FILTER SUBSTRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color conversion filter substrate which does not cause deterioration of contrast ratio due to fluorescence emission even if an outside light beam enters slantwise and can be made easily and in low cost.

SOLUTION: The color conversion filter substrate is made by arranging a plurality of pixels on a transparent substrate. Each of the pixels has a first filter for transmitting a first wavelength light beam, a second filter for transmitting a second wavelength light beam and a color conversion filter for converting the second wavelength light beam into a third wavelength light beam. The color conversion filter and the second filter in the same pixel are placed not to adjoin each other, and the color conversion filter of each pixel and the second filter of contiguous pixel are arranged not to adjoin.
