<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared sensitive photosensitive composition which is high in the difference (dissolution discrimination) of alkali solubility in exposed and unexposed sections and has excellent development latitude and high sensitivity when the composition is used for an image forming layer etc., of an original plate for a planographic printing plate. <P>SOLUTION: The composition is characterized by containing (A) an alkali-soluble resin having a phenolic hydroxyl group, (B) a photothermal conversion material, and (C) a compound which is decomposed by the action of acid to generate a sulfonic acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
