PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate plating stripping in press forming of a GI steel sheet, to suppress spangle efflorescence of plating film surfaces and to prevent the deterioration in the surface appearance when the steel sheet is subjected to thick plating. SOLUTION: The galvanized steel sheet is formed by specifying the concentration, by mass%, of Al in the film to 0.15 to 1.0%, the concentration of Fe to≤6%, the average crystal grain size of spangles to≤1.0 mm, Wca to≤0.6μm and is constituted in such a manner that the surface roughness Rz (μm) of the steel sheet after the removal of the plating film satisfies the following equation (1): The equation (1) is expressed by Rz≥0.4x(the concentration of Fe in the film (mass%))+4.0.
