PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sustain liquid drop ejection performance well by enhancing the boring accuracy of a liquid ejection head. SOLUTION: A nozzle plate 13 is coated with a water repellent film 13a, an ink channel hole 16 is bored through an ink channel plate 17 formed by laminating a plurality of planar members, and the nozzle plate 13 is bonded to the ink channel plate 17 provided with ink the channel hole 16 while directing the surface coated with the water repellent film 13a outward thus boring a nozzle hole 14 communicating with the ink channel hole 16 through the nozzle plate 13.
