PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a stress relieving process for die cast products after the products have been took out from the die and cooled to room temperature. SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for preventing the deformation of the thin plate die cast products comprises a chain conveyer 10 having a drive chain 13, a plurality of weights 20, a weight supporting frame 30 and a weight driving means 40 for moving a plurality of the weights 20 in the vertical direction at the same time, and a fan 50 serving as a cooling means. A thin plate die cast product 2 took out from a die is put on the drive chain 13, and is carried from a upstream side to a downstream side in the carrying direction of the drive chain 13, and is cooled to room temperature. At the same time, the weights 20 are put on the thin plate die cast product 2 several of times to prevent the deformation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
