PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implement for fixing a door ajar, which can easily bring the door ajar only by sandwiching an insertion part between a wall and the top surface of the door or the side surface of the door on the side of a door knob, even if a door chain or a door guard is kept in a locked state. SOLUTION: This implement for fixing the door ajar is constituted as follows: a suction cup 5 is connected with a through-hole 3 in the center of a cylindrical part 2 by a string 4 and made to stick to the indoor side surface of the door with a door closer; and the door is easily brought ajar only by inserting the cylindrical part 2 into a gap between the wall and the top surface of the door or the side surface of the door on the side of the door knob.
