PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a station data updating system and a station data updating method for making the best use of the function of a facility designing system and at the same time performing efficient processing. SOLUTION: An NE-FDS 110 collectively generates a plurality of station data definitions for composing station data for transmission. An OSS 120 transmits the station data definitions to an NE 130 one by one. The NE 130 performs update for each reception of station data definitions and informs the NE-FDS 110 of the completion of update when the update is completed. The NE-FDS 110 updates a state management table 112 for indicating the update state of the station data definitions in the NE 130 each time when the NE-FDS 110 receives the information. When the entire station data definitions are updated in the NE 130, the entire station data definitions concerned are updated collectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
