Since it is a freestanding unit, it does not attach to your walls or windows; therefore, it will not cause damage to your home. Your pet has the choice to lay, stand or sit on the unit. It is of sturdy construction and is standard window height, approximately 30'' high; however, it can be customized to accommodate other heights. Some basic assembly is required.
