A mobile communication device includes: a service type recording section (205) for recording characteristic of a service used by the mobile communication device; and an interface recording section (206) for recording the external connection interface type in the network and the characteristic. An interface decision section (207) selects at least one interface satisfying the service request and this is reported to a mobile router having an external connection interface. Thus, even when a change has occurred in the link state of the external interface of the mobile router, the mobile communication device can rapidly switch the external interface so as to continue the communication and can evade communication congestion between the mobile communication device and the mobile router during switching.
