An electric lawnmower has a frame with four wheels and cutter blades and is tied by a rope or chord to the center point spindle of the grass area to be mown. The lawn mower cuts the grass in ever decreasing circles as the rope winds around the central spindle. After completion of the circular area, the remainder of the grass is mown under hand-control using the same machine. The mower may be battery powered or mains-powered using an extension cable.
