A reduction procedure for signal multiple phase-error present in the form of a sequence of a number of digital part-signals assigned to a number of sub-carriers (k) of a carrier with which for each part-signal the following steps are carried out; compensate/balance the part-signal (Y(i, k)); estimate the phase-error of the compensated or balanced part signal; correct the estimated phase error of the compensated or balanced part signal. The compensating or balancing step contains a step of at least partial elimination of an accumulation of a phase error of the part-signal caused by scanning frequency error via the sequence of part-signals, such that the accumulation is negligible. The estimation step comprises a step of detecting a multiple of given pilot-signals and a step of determining a phase-correction factor on the basis of the detected phase signals in which at least one multiplication operation is carried out with the sole aid of shift- and addition-operations.
