<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-supporting electric source type wireless field observation apparatus which can always monitor the voltages of a battery, retreat the data to a back-up memory, when the data are lower than specified values, and can then drive the system, when the data are higher than the specified values. <P>SOLUTION: This self-supporting electric source type wireless field observation apparatus is characterized by comprising a battery 13 charged from a self-supporting electric source 11 such as a solar battery or a wind power station, a sensor for detecting the data related to soil, weather, and water quality in a field, a wireless communication system for transmitting the sensor data obtained with the sensor to a control chamber, an electric source voltage-monitoring circuit 17 for monitoring the voltage of the battery 13, and a computer 16 which retreats untransmitted sensor data and the present time to the back-up memory and is shut down, when receiving a shut-down control pulse from the electric source voltage-monitoring circuit 17, and is then driven, when receiving a reset control pulse. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
