<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force control apparatus for a vehicle capable of preventing occurrence of a shock in shifting a clutch interposed between a motor and a driven wheel to the released state during driving. <P>SOLUTION: In shifting from a four-wheel driving state to a two-wheel driving state and releasing a clutch 12 during driving, motor torque is maintained constant and the torque is assumed as clutch release torque requiring output from a motor to make torque at the clutch 12 be substantially zero. Also, when a target motor torque Tm becomes the clutch release torque Tf with a value being equal to or less than a predetermined threshold where the frequency of becoming an armature current value is high, it is determined the status is shifted from the four-wheel state to the two-wheel state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
