<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a photocurrent of a driving transistor and fluctuation of threshold voltage, and to improve displaying quality of an EL display panel. <P>SOLUTION: A driving TFT 85 of an organic EL element 70 has a multigate structure. Namely, an active layer 101 formed of a polysilicon layer is arranged on an insulating substrate 100, and a plurality of gates 20 are arranged on the active layer 101 in a comb teeth shape through a gate insulating layer 102.
