<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage papers without using codes for adjustment or sensors for detection, and to save an adjustment man-hour. <P>SOLUTION: The printer has a printer machine 1 with a paper feed roll 8 for supplying and sending a paper P, and a printing part 10 for recording images to the paper P. The printer records images while the paper P is sent by the paper feed roll 8. The printer is equipped with an electronic tag 15 buried in the paper P for storing paper management information including a validity term related to the paper P and paper sensitivity information and for outputting the paper management information in response to a reading access, a reading part 18 set at the printer machine 1 for reading the paper management information from the electronic tag 15, and a judging part 23 for judging on the basis of the paper management information read by the reading part 18 whether or not the paper P is one suitable for printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
