<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared ray photosensitive composition having excellent hardening property by IR laser light, useful as a recording layer of a negative lithographic printing original plate which can be directly recorded from digital data of a computer or the like, having excellent plate wear and contamination preventing property in a non-image part in the use in the above field, and capable of forming an image with high picture quality. <P>SOLUTION: The composition contains: (A) a binder polymer; (B) a polymerizable compound; (C) an IR absorbent; and (D) a compound which generates a radical by light or heat, and has the acid value of ≥0.15 mmol/g and ≤0.8 mmol/g in a film state when the composition is formed into a film. The binder polymer (A) is preferably a polymer containing a structural unit having a carboxylic acid group of a specified structure in the molecule as an alkali soluble group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
