DISK ARRAY DEVICE AND POWER SUPPLY METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent all mounted HDDD and an I/F control circuit from being laid in an operation stopped state in the occurrence of a power supply failure such as short circuit of a power supply line with ground on a mother board.

SOLUTION: In a plurality of disk array devices using a plurality of systems of AC inputs as power source or the power supply method therefor, the disk array device has a plurality of AC/DC power sources connected to each of the AC inputs of the plurality of systems. Each output of each AC/DC power source is integrated by systems to obtain total outputs by systems, and a plurality of total outputs by systems are inputted to each load within the disk array device as an operating power source.
