<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a connector of a flat cable to a connecting terminal, which can reduce the riskiness of bringing about a breakage in a flat conductor at an end of a nick, when the cable receives a force, such as a lateral tension, etc. from the outside. <P>SOLUTION: At least one nick 13 is cut obliquely at a superposed part 12, formed by superposing a connecting plate 11 of the connecting terminal at a position of the flat conductor 7 of the flat cable 6 so as to be separated gradually from the widthwise direction of the conductor 7. Both-side parts perpendicular to the nick 13 are made to be at different levels.
