PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily lock a piston rod in a maximally shortened position when storing and carrying in a hydraulic buffer, and to reduce the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The piston rod 6 is penetrated through a piston 5 fitted in a cylinder 2, and fixed by a nut 9, and a male screw part 8 of the piston rod is projected from the nut 9. A lock member 20 having a female screw part 24 spirally formed on an inner peripheral edge part of a C-shaped plate member is mounted on a base valve 10. The piston rod 6 is shortened to the minimum position, and the male screw part 8 can be engaged with the female screw part 24 only by approximately one rotation, whereby the piston rod 6 can be easily locked at the maximally shortened position. As the existing male screw part 8 of the piston rod can be utilized, and the lock member 20 can be manufactured by press working, the manufacturing cost can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
